Claims

Students enrolled in the Student Health Insurance Plan are responsible only for payment of any applicable co-pays and ineligible expenses when services are rendered at the Student Health Center or Campus Pharmacy.

The Student Health Center and Campus Pharmacy will bill the insurance company for any eligible expenses for services rendered at the University's Student Health Center and Campus Pharmacy. The insurance company will process claims per the terms of the Student Health Insurance Plan and pay the Student Health Center or Campus Pharmacy directly for approved claims. This is not a guarantee of payment. The remaining balance of unpaid billed charges will be transferred to the student's university financial account.

Students enrolled in the UHS endorsed Student Health Insurance Plan are required to read and understand the policy's coverage, exclusions and limitations. This information can be found in the plan's brochure.

Services obtained outside the Student Health Center are subject to deductibles and co-insurance requirements for eligible expenses, and all other policy provisions/limitations.
